This is an excellent audience recording. Sounds very damn close to soundboard if you ask me! Virtually no audience noise. On this fateful night, the mighty Eat 'Em and Smile Band fired on all cylinders and left Van Hagar in the dust! A must have recording for all Diamond Dave, Steve Vai, Billy Sheehan, and Gregg Bissonette fans around the world!! Unfortunately, this amazing recording is incomplete. Ladies Night In Buffalo, The 2nd half of Goin' Crazy, Jump, and, California Girls are all missing. Most of Dave's between song banter is missing as well.

The 1st gen tapes for the alternate audio were transfered on a modified Sony 701ES cassette deck unidirectionally and recorded at 24bit / 96khz resolution via a Terratec 6Fire audio processor. All remastering was done at the 32bit level for additional clarity before the final mixdown to 16bit / 44.1 khz for the CD Audio. No hiss or noise reduction was used in the audio mastering process.

Another one I can't believe has never been posted here.

This was the lowest point of his career. In 1988 he played the Forum and Irvine Meadows (though from what I understand the tour was carried by Poison) and his single show at Irvine Meadows in 1991 was cancelled due to poor tickets so his first hometown show in 6 years was at the newly opened House Of Blues, was not sold out, in fact my friend bought a ticket on the street for $5.

It was broadcast on the radio, this is obviously not the best possible quality, likely recorded and copied on a boombox on normal bias tapes but I have seen nothing better. No DAT sources, no commercial bootlegs.

What can i say abut this special that hasn't been said before?
Reauthored adding proper menus and chapters, and removing all the Toshiba commercials of each break.
As bonus i added the music videos of the Skyscraper album and the Toshiba TV spots that featured DLR, but only once.

The original video is from a mint S-Video transfer (i'm convinced that this whole special was a S-VHS tape on retail japanese stores for promoting the brand new Toshiba hardware, specially their S-VHS machines).
