A very good recording! As you can read from the info below the source and lineage are unknown.
There also was some debate on the date of the show. Originally this was given 1977-07-31, which means Journey were opening act on part of an ELP tour. Over an hour, that would be a very long opening act, with an encore. There are two more recordings from that show, one of them complete, and the setlist does not match at all. Setlists change, I know, but I doubt they would change the setlist this music within two weeks.
Robert Fleischman was part of the band so he would be singing, although I've heard that he was not on stage for at least two of the gigs during this tour. There are no songs from the third album Next, which they did play on other shows around this time.
Two other dates have were mentioned during the discussions: 1975-11 and 1976-06-08. The former is too early, the second album had not been released yet and the name of the album is mentioned twice during this show as if the audience knows about this. 1976-06-08 just sounds most likely. It's a date people have on tapes for exactly the same show.
