There are many versions and recordings of the 1980 shows. Each of them has something special about each of them. I personally liked this recording because the fidelity of the recording seemed richer than a lot of the other SBD's. There's some tape hiss in the high end, but I noticed most of the other 1980 SBD's are missing a lot of the high end altoghter or sound like there's some kind of damage to the tapes. So even with the hiss I find this recording to be nice on the ears. Many years(decades-ouch) ago I read a review in the Illustrated Guide To Collecting Led Zeppelin, that compared this recording to one on the Toasted Label. It also mentioned how this recording seemed nicer. This is not the complete show, it cuts/fades on Kashmir. There's a bootleg called 'Silver Coated Rails' also on the Toasted label that has the rest of the tape, but I noticed the quality doesn't seem to be the same as this source. I decided to leave this recording as is w/o any patching in case someone can supply equal quality tapes for the rest of the show. I also noticed how Seagull didn't properly index tracks 1-Train Kept and 2-Nobody's Fault even though they printed them on the cover.
