Back on the heavy metal arena. I was mentioning already that there were plenty of quality supporting act and this show really deserves the label of "double gig", rather than support & main acts. Ozzy opening for the Whitesnake...wow! And Jon Lord plus Cozy Powell playing in Coverdale's band...what a line-up! This was some six months before Deep Purple MK II came back together to record Perfect Stranger.

In all an excellent double gig and two different styles indeed: metal at its highest level for Ozzy, more blues oriented for Whitesnake.
