  1. This show originated way back in 1978. I was a snot nosed arrogant Stones arse whole, buying bootleg vinyls from Wayne Rogers in Chapel Hill, NC. He sent me the soundboard to the LA 75 video & I called (!) him up and read this Southern Gentleman (I hail from New York City) & read him the riot act! Telling him No Way was this show soundboard. So, being the sweet soul that he is he sent me Pittsburgh 72 audience (fair) the REAL Kansas City 72 (fair-) & this tape. I hung on to it and in 2001 I sent it to our friend Erwin Hoetjes in Amsterdam. As he tells it, he was listening on headphones and threw them off, yelling at his wife that he was listening to a rare gem! & that was a low gen tape of the Stones first Winterland show in 1972.
Needless to say, it was circulated to the right people, and now we all have a slice of the Stones at the tentative beginning of STP. BTW, I'm also responsible for Seattle 1975. Sensational shows, eh?
