-- original notes:
Here's a great show taken from Pat Metheny's Secret Story Tour recorded in Spain Live in May of 1993. In 1992 Pat took a break from the Pat Metheny Group and recorded his "Secret Story" solo cd. This "Live" recording features the essence of that album with Pat playing more Acoustic Guitar in a full band setting. The audio is sourced from DVD-R Stereo TV Broadcast and is different than the FM source Show from years ago. I have put in many hours and applied audio tweeks (see notes). As a result the sound, setlist, & performance make this show an Excellent listen for Pat Metheny fans. As always your Comments are appreciated!!!
Jazamo Tweeks:
Taken from a DVD-R trade the TV broadcast picture quality was not the best, however the stereo audio of this show was just fine. The audio of this Broadcast was extracted to wave as one file. The Sample rate (48khz is above standard CD quality (44khz). Throughout the 2 hr TV Broadcast there were commercials every 2 or 3 songs and the audio would fade out, then fade back in with the same applause. These transitions have now been Improved to start each track at the begining of the song and eliminating duplicated applause. Added track markers,a few fade outs, and decreased applause between songs. Punched up bass solo on track-4 TO +3db. Dropped volume -3db on track-3 and track-10 intro's due to clipping on original source of the first couple seconds of each song. Fixed dropout at end of track-18. Verify that files are decodable.
