There’s an old saying that the best things in life are worth waiting for, and this torrent most certainly falls into that category. Versions of this show have circulated in varying degrees of mediocrity on VHS tapes and DVDs. Now, ten years after the event, Mid Valley has issued what will be regarded as the benchmark for this show. While this does not quite measure up to a commercial release, it is so close as to fall into the “who gives a shit” category. Put another way, the quality is excellent. I watched this last night on a 46” Sony Bravia LCD flat screen (sound through Audioquest interconnects to a Creek Classic 5350 SE amp to Harthbeth 7ES-3 speakers) and was knocked out. After I finished watching this, I took my Heartwood Edge bootleg DVD and the old VHS tape I have and threw them in the trash. It’s that good.

The lineage is unknown and there are two distinct sources. The main show is one and the encores are the second. The encores have a time strip across the bottom of the screen and the TV station logo in the bottom right hand corner, which does not distract much, whereas the main show does not. The main show quality is slightly better than the encores. .
