A great concert with Iggy in top form and a killer setlist, although it took place in less than great circumstances, as the 'Baloise Sessions' are a corporate and heavily sponsored mainstream festival with the sponsor names shamelessly being projected onto the stage background during the first minutes of the shows... all concerts are seated with small coffee tables where the audiences are waited at and served champagne etc.... you get the picture. Pretty much the opposite of a rock'n'roll show setting. Not to mention the insane ticket prizes. I hope Iggy got paid accordingly!
The non-corporate Iggy fans attending were all wondering before the show what he was gonna do about these circumstances - jump on the tables? Set the stage on fire?
In the end Iggy simply ignored all that bullshit, took his jacket off early on as usual and simply delivered a fantastic show, although he was limping heavily and couldn't go as wild as he seemed he felt like going. And thankfully quite a few people simply went to the front of the stage before the seated area and started dancing there. Quite a few beautiful young ladies too!
