personal notes
Outside Venue's are always a challenge . The Crowd is quiet so this is a good capture. Turn it up as I set the input levels low ,as I did not chance distortion, wind, crowd, etc. Phenix City, AL city council usually sponsors about 3 - 5 shows a year to correspond with events in Columbus, Ga. The Amphitheater sits on the banks of The Chattahoochie river, with The Columbus RiverWalk as the backdrop. No ushers. But , The Police dept was well represented, and one walked right up to me. Thanks to my wife for being my shadow and giving me a warning. The Fireworks at the end of the show, were from the GA side of the river to correspond with the concert, and Memorial Day. This is a Tri-City area ( Columbus, GA. , Ft. Benning, GA. , Phenix City, AL )
concert notes
The Band ( N' rG ) is tight. (pronouned energy ) . All members are vocalists and sing leads on some songs. Mark still has alot to offer and is getting around good . You can sense he is enjoying this part of his career. He still sings strong, and plays hard . ( I think he had a pacemaker installed last year ? )
Inside Looking Out, I Dont Have To Sing the Blues, and the Stones Cover stand out to me. I walked out of the Amphitheater with a huge Smile, reflecting down Memory Lane , as I grew up a GFR fan .
I left the Fireworks show on this recording ,as the City of Columbus, shot the fireworks off on there side of the River , and it was part of the vibe.
