notes by the trader
Finally, after months in the making here it is.
Originally I thugh in anme this compilation "The Swedish Rising Force Years" since on the Eclipse and Fire & Ice eras the band members were (for the first time) all swedish, but i dropped that name was after including the Burn live clip from Budokan '94 show because on the Seventh Sign era line up only Yngwie and Mats Olausson were swedish. For the Lyon '90 tracks i corrected the aspect ratio of the original video, and now is on proper 4:3. The Sony Music TV Budokan Special was an special presentation for the japanese TV promoting the Fire & Ice album, so that's the sole reason for wich only live tracks of that album were broadcasted (i bet that the whole show were recorded). The video is from a S-Video transfer (i'm not sure if it was recorded through S-Video, maybe through composite video actually or sourced from a 2nd S-VHS tape, but the quality is too good for being a composite video transfer, that's for sure). Also, the original recording have an audio delay wich i corrected. Very special thanks to Crawford King for get and send me the Burn live clip from the original WOWOW TV broadcast, wich was excluded from the official "Live At Budokan" release of the very same concert. Now you can see that rare piece in all his glory. The Unrelased Promo are the videos also excluded from the official Malmsteen's video relases, despite having 2 collections featuring his video clips (The Collection from 1991 and Video Clips from 1999).
