The Police - 1980-11-15 - Mexico City, MX (DVDfull pro-shot)

(DVDfull pro-shot)

Quote from Andy Summers:
"We played in a strange place. It was in a sort of a new hotel and we played on the 20th floor. It was very expensive to get in. We played on a very sort of dangerous stage. It was falling apart as we played. Everyone went so crazy. We thought the whole stage would fall apart. It was good fun."

01 - Bring on the Night
02 - Driven to Tears
03 - So Lonely
04 - Roxanne
05 - De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da
06 - Truth Hits Everybody
07 - Message in a Bottle

This was taped from a local TV station back in the 80's.  The film is a bit dark but the quality is very reasonable considering when this took place.   This is quite a document as Mexico did not get to see any big international bands play locally back then.  It was until the late 90's that international acts began playing in Mexico so the fact that The Police played there at the time was a very significant moment in Mexico's rock concert history.  People who attended the concert say that the audience was wearing tuxedos as this was considered to be a "gala event".
