Comments:
The audio portion of this show has not appeared on Dime for a couple of years, although I put up the accompanying pro shot video last year (see contrast clause above). At the time these audio and video file sets were first shared on Dime in 2005, I didn't have the foresight to save the original compressed files -- so I was happy to see this appear on Electric Ladyland a few weeks ago, prepared and posted by "UrbanSteel."

I'm not sure whether this is the same file set originally shared to Dime - I am assuming it's not. This sounds to me as though it is the soundtrack to the pro shot video, perhaps with some enhancements to the audio. It's mono, and hovers on the verge of distortion for some of the loudest moments in the performance, but overall is quite listenable even though it isn't perfect.

Performance and setlist is in line with this point in the "Steel Wheels" tour, with no surprises in the setlist. This features a solid mix of what was then "new" material mixed with the oldies that are still a staple of their set nearly 25 years later.
