The final night of the Spring 1983 UK tour ("the last one for a very long time"), as preserved on a low gen (but a little bit hissy) soundboard recording. Great sound quality, but unfortunately various band members had momentary lapses of concentration at different points during the gig, so some very strange noises can be heard here and there (check out the start to Heartland, for instance). Still, not to be missed if you like the glorious din created by the girls in 1983!

Bought at a records fair in Derby sometime in 1987

Along with the Stuttgart 1984-11-12 show, this is possibly my favourite Sisters bootleg, some great between-song banter from Eldritch. This is a great sounding show, at times it's like a soundboard. This doesn't seem to circulate as much as some of the others from this tour like the Lyceum, Newcastle and Brighton shows. Any show with 'Some Kind of Stranger' deserves a listen and add 'Stairway' in there with the priceless, 'There's a bus goes now from out there and you'd be advised...' intro and you've got a must have show.

Great performance, sound quality is excellent. The band is at the height of the pre-Floodland era, and collectors consider this one of the best bootlegs from the time period. Recorded on the "Tune In... Turn On... Burn Out" UK Tour, two days after "First and Last and Always" was released. Essential listening if you're into that record.

Gary Marx distributed in 1981 a very small quantity of tapes including some studios and live materials to promote the band . here is one of this tapes. The quality is very good for the early sisters years I've never heard those 1981's gigs with this sound quality and normal speed. Here is the story regarding this tape to attest authenticity and source. This tape come from a huge set bought from a close source from Gary Marx. This set including this tape + 1 WEA box + 1 test pressing of Reptile House. Also the Reptile House EP came in a mail carrier with adress of Mark Pearman (aka Gary Marx).

Here's a bunch of Sisters demos & outtakes I put together from what I believe to be the best circulating sources for all of these recordings. All of those sources are detailed below, so you can make out for yourself what you need/want and what you don't. Whenever vinyl sources were used (either by myself, or by the producers of the bootleg CD's), I have manually removed (nearly) all audible clicks & pops using the pen tool in SoundForge, so you might even consider downloading what you think you already have...

Tracks labeled B01-B14 have been put aside because
- they were mastered at a much louder volume than the other tracks, and I didn't want to subject the first 28 tracks to the same treatment (I'm all for dynamics in music, not just sheer volume);
- I already seeded them once before

I think this is a fairly comprehensive collection of unreleased Sisters studio recordings. I did not use any of the circulating 'rough mixes' of officially released tracks, because most of them are virtually indistinguishable from the latter AND of patently inferior sound quality (unless anybody knows differently, in which case I'd love to be told).One source I regret to say was not used: the 'Kenny Giles Walks On Water' bootleg that surfaced a couple of years ago and which I have never been able to track down 
- so if anybody could seed that one in addition to this lot, I'd be over the moon :-)
