COMMENTS: 
This is the second night of the Back To Bass Tour in Italy, this show was similar to the first one, instead of "Wrapped Around Your Finger", Sting perfomed "Heavy Cloud",no more Changes.The quality of this show is probably better than the first because I'm seated at the therd row, but sounds more "bass".People was more powerfull than in Rome, this is a bigger venue and not sophisticated like Rome. 

During the soundcheck he played always the same traks they played, some take of Mad About You,Shock The Monkey,Shape Of My Heart,When We Dance (this will practice for featuring changes),Something The Boy Said (different takes). 

The support act for this show was also Joe Sumner (with Jo Lawry and Rhani Krija).joe play some acustic songs of Fiction Plane.He atended a few fans before to go at the stage on the doors who separed the backstage and arena.

Will and I packed up the gear at the What Stage after Red Hot Chili Peppers and hauled ass to That Tent to catch this show. We only missed a couple songs. We actually heard "I'm Eighteen" walking up. We moved into the crowd outside the tent and I used my old guy skills to get us inside and up to the soundboard rail where Randy had his rig set up. Only show I saw that I didn't tape. But we had a blast.
Randy doesn't upload so he sent me this show via DropBox and I did all the busy work to share it. The recording is fantastic. Church Audio comes through again. Nice work, Randy.

About this one tape, I got it, along with two others from 2 others shows from the following nights of the same Japan Leg of the 1983 Breaking Point Tour during my brief trading days in the mid nineties. If this fellow trader evers reads this, may he forgive me for forgetting his name, but may he be blessed. He recorded those 3 shows. Sound quality isn't the best (at most a B) but they tell the tale of a 1983 Iggy on the verge of a much needed break (from recording and touring as well as some substances) who gets to meet his then-future, now-ex, wife Sushi. On one of the shows he clearly mentions her being there and introduces her to the audience.

This show has the lowest quality of the three tapes. Some cuts on the opener Fire Engine, during No Fun and beetween Loose and I'm bored are present on my copy and come from the master tape. There is also a rare gem : the "Bo Diddley" that you don't hear at every Iggy gig.

Comments by the taper: 
I can't say enough about The Egg. I just love this venue. The acoustics are absolutely fantastic. This was a great show. This tour is the best they've sounded since 2004. This show was no exception. I was fortunate to be sitting in a sweet spot, and there is no chatter, or the usual "Billy, you the man!" screams that are normally heard at Yes concerts. I think much of this stems from the fact that while there is a bar in the lobby, you are not allowed to bring drinks inside the venue. Less drunks means less inane crowd noise! 

As for the recordings, I made two seperate recordings using both sets of microphones I own. They both came out spectacular. These are perhaps, the best sounding recordings I've made in the 11+ years of recording shows. This version was done with my trusty Sound Professional set up, which I find sometimes causes a little bit of low-end distortion that I am usually able to mix out of my recordings. That did not happen here. This one sounds fantastic. I have had really great luck with this setup recording at The Egg. I am having a tough time deciding which of the two recordings I like better. You can't really go wrong with either one. If I had to pick one, I would probably pick this one.

This is an upgraded source of Glyn Johns' early mix acetate which contains the session performed in January 1969. I, ThePetSounds Production, remastered an extremely rare audio source directly ripped from the Elektra Records acetate disc named "UNTOUCHED". I used the raw source on the disc 1 of a bootleg CD named "UNTOUCHED - OFF ELEKTRA ACETATE" released by IMP in Japan. 

Disc 1 contains 15 tracks which were de-clicked, phase-corrected, and speed-corrected. Disc 2 has the same tracks de-noised, and the three lacking parts in them have been patched up with other sources: The beginning of track 1 "Get Back" was patched with a source from "Celluloid Rock" released by Yellow Dog, and the end of track 9 "I've Got A Feeling" and the beginning of track 10 "The Long And Winding Road" were done with a source from "Posters, Incense And Strobe Candles" released by Vigotone.

What a fantastic concert. This show was just pure joy. A beautiful tapestry of sound was woven this night at the world's most famous arena and I was lucky enough to be in attendance. My only regret is that I did not attend the first two shows of this three night MSG stand. 

This was my 7th show recorded with my trusty Nokia Lumia Icon Windows Phone and, once again, I think the results are rather damn good. The built-in HAAC mics can stand up to 140db without distorting the recording and there are no levels to set. You can't go wrong AND you don't have to worry about sneaking in 'equipment'. Some 'on the fly' splits: after track 04, after track 08, after track 12, after track 17, after track 18, all encores. I then used Audacity to split the large WAV files recorded into single tracks. Some drunken comments pre-show (track 00) and post-show (track 33) that you can feel free to delete.
