Ballsdeep how notes: Caught the Portland show 3 nights earlier, but skipped Sacramento, so I'd have a little money to play with in Reno. This was a good decision, as Sacto was the infamous show where Duff got hit with a Corona bottle half-full of piss, and they ended the show about an hour after it started. This tape, considering my seat, came out most excellent, as I was basically dead center, but 4 rows from the roof. Lawler is a "perfect circle", however, so the sound, to these ears for a D3 with supplied mic, is pretty damn sweet. Another "best ever" version of "Double Talkin Jive" and a seldom played "Yesterdays" are the highlights of this set. And, before the encore, some dipshit decided to light either some firecrackers or bottle rockets, so Axl refused to come back out for "Paradise City", which is understandable, as nerves were frayed from the night before, and Axl DID warn the crowd during the show to behave. They did not, so he bailed early....no pun (Bill Bailey) intended...Big thanks to rockphantom for the upload, and I may have one more GNR uncirculated master to dig out of the tape box.
