Info below is from Duran Duran Wiki: http://duranduran.wikia.com/wiki/With_Love_And_Thanks
With Love And Thanks is an unofficial Duran Duran compilation album, recorded between 1992 and 1995.
This is a collection of Duran Duran Thank You demos and live promotional performances.
"White Lines"
There are three versions of "White Lines" on the album, including a performance by Duran Duran on the US David Letterman Show. According to the Duran Duran Rare CD Guide site, the band were told at the last minute to cut down the song due to time constraints.
"Ball of Confusion"
The track is an uncensored version, with the lyrics "Politicians..Can You xxxxxxx believe them?"
"Perfect Day"
Track 3 is a recording very similar to the album version, but includes John Taylor singing backing vocals. The second version of "Perfect Day" and "Crystal Ship" (Acoustic) are from Simon Mayo's BBC Radio 1 breakfast show, aired in the UK. This performance on the Simon Mayo show also included an acoustic live version of "Ordinary World", which was released on the "White Lines" single CD and "Lay Lady Lay" Italian single.
"Thank You"
This is not the With Honors demo version, but a completely different recording.
"Plastic Girl"
The track is a live recording of Duran Duran's performance on the MTV Most Wanted show.
Bonus tracks:
"Dreamboy" and "Electric Barbarella" are not Thank You songs. "Dreamboy" is a Simon Le Bon solo song, recorded live at the Cannes Film Festival. The "Electric Barbarella" track 16 is a recording of a radio performance, and the Plastic Kiss Acoustic Mix is a re-edit of track 16.

NOTES:
Yes were in Los Angeles to promote the release of their latest compilation album "The Ultimate Yes" and their DVD "Yesspeak". This is an FM recording of their live studio performance in "Jim Ladd's Living Room" hosted by the famous LA DJ.
As with many FM recordings, it's compressed to bloody HELL!! Why do they make the music so G-damn loud with overboard compression? Few notes about the remastering. I removed much of the harshness in the treble range and adjusted down the amplitude to 80% of 0dB.

Music like this should be preserved for future generations of music lovers all over the world. I will try to keep all my uploads alive and will seed them for the next years. Your seeding help is always welcome, together we can keep this great music collection online available forever

memories
The GOLDEN BEAR was located about 50 miles south of Los Angeles in the town of Huntington Beach. This was a small nightclub in a small town surfing community back when the streets and yards were still full of sand. I was an avid follower of SPIRIT and just naturally brought the recording gear to this show. It was one of those times where we just could not get past the security and had to take the recording equipment back to the car. I returned to the show very disappointed and then a stranger came up to me and told me that he had asked the soundman if he would record the show for him, and he had said YES. He didn't have any tape so a blank cassette exchanged hands and this is the result. The next day I copied the master cassette with my TEAC 4070G Reel to Reel @ 7 1/2 ips on TDK Audua tape. This was thirty years ago. These memories of how Huntington Beach was back then no longer fit with what that town has become. The GOLDEN BEAR is long gone and a large shopping and dinning complex sits where this concert took place. I can still remember walking across the street after the show and standing out on the pier to discuss the show and "prepare" for the long drive back home. This tape for some reason only had the year 1978 written on it. I can't find a ticket stub but from the statements at the end of the tape it is certainly late July of that year. Mike Martin 2-2010

This documentary uncovers historic and previously unseen footage of the illustrious rock quartet and provides new insight into the revolutionary impact of its music and legacy. Directed by award-winning writer/director Tom DiCillo and narrated by Johnny Depp, this documentary is a riveting account of the band’s history.
Depp said, “Watching the hypnotic, hitherto unreleased footage of Jim, John, Ray and Robby, I felt like I experienced it all through their eyes. As a rock n’ roll documentary, or any kind of documentary for that matter, it simply doesn’t get any better than this. What an honor to have been involved. I am as proud of this as anything I have ever done.”
The film reveals an intimate perspective on the creative chemistry between drummer John Densmore, guitarist Robby Krieger, keyboardist Ray Manzarek and singer Jim Morrison — four brilliant artists who made The Doors one of America’s most iconic and influential rock bands. Using footage shot between the band’s 1965 formation and Morrison’s death in 1971. “From the outset I decided to use only original footage of this astonishing band,” says Tom DiCillo, director and writer of When You’re Strange. “To me, there is nothing more powerful and riveting than seeing Robby Krieger, Ray Manzarek, John Densmore and Jim Morrison leap into life on the screen.”
The film chronicles the creation of The Doors six landmark studio albums and follows the band from the corridors of UCLA’s film school, where Manzarek and Morrison originally met, onto the stages of their electrifying sold-out performances – giving time and attention to every one of their groundbreaking, chart topping songs.

A rare audio treat (aren’t they all?)from the Time Tour not commonly found on bootleg trading sites. If anybody has any more information about the lineage/origin of this bootleg, that would be much appreciated. Similarly, if anybody has any other bootlegs of ELO not commonly available, I’m happy to keep uploading what I have. Sharing is caring, right? :)
Great tribute to John Lennon in this boot, too!
