Notes:
Between or after the Windows performances in Munich in June 1974 Jon
Lord (Deep Purple) and Eberhard Schoener were asked to do a project for
the "Rock Meets Classic" series, that German TV did in the early 70ies.
It's not a real concert, the band and the orchestra separately rehearse
and perform parts of Mozart's "Kroenungsmesse". The quality is good,
except of a number of short video tape errors

During the 2000-2004 period, The Cure made several U.S. television appearances to promote "Bloodflowers", "The Cure" and the Curiosa Festival. I was ready with my VCR to record whatever I was aware of. I just dug these tapes out and realized I had enough to create a decent compilation, and here it is. This is all first generation and in great shape. The appearances included here are MADtv (2000), Craig Kilborn (2003), Jay Leno (2004) and Pepsi Smash (2004). The song list follows.

A Documentary split into 18 chapters.
Run Time:- 01:30:49
Some word from the BBC:
In just four years, Jimi Hendrix revolutionised the music scene with his transcendent sound and explosive stage presence. A peacock, poet and perfectionist, he was a true original, who restlessly pushed his musical gifts to their extremes.
imagine... tells the story of how this shy, former private in the 101st Airborne became the greatest rock guitarist of all time, using never-before-seen performance footage, home movies and family letters.
With contributions from the Hendrix family, Sir Paul McCartney, and former band mates Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell, imagine... presents an in-depth look at Hendrix's life and career that was tragically cut short at just 27 years old in 1970

Bonnie Raitt and Lyle Lovett have known each other for years and mounted a summer shed tour together in 2002, performing the songs which their multitudes of fans have come to know and love. Now, they take to the CMT stage before a Nashville invitation-only audience for an unforgettable episode of CMT Crossroads.
Raitt is a singer, songwriter and guitarist whose unique style blends blues, R&B, rock, and pop. After 20 years as a cult favorite, she broke through to the top in the early '90s with her Grammy-winning albums, Nick of Time and Luck of the Draw, which featured hits such as "Something to Talk About" and "I Can't Make You Love Me." With nine Grammys under her belt and a long history of social activism, she tours regularly incorporating many benefit concerts into her schedule.
Of all the artists who emerged in Nashville's mid-1980s whirlwind of experimentation, Lovett is one of the few who have achieved an enduring, significant career while staying constantly fresh and original. After releasing three critically acclaimed albums under the direction of Curb/ MCA Nashville -- Lyle Lovett (1986), the gold-certified Pontiac (1987) and the Grammy-winning Lyle Lovett and His Large Band (1989) -- Lovett moved away from country to explore broader styles. The first of his Los Angeles-recorded albums, Joshua Judges Ruth (1992) is steeped in gospel and R&B. I Love Everybody (1994) features songs he had written as early as the 1970s, while 1996's gold-certified and Grammy-winning The Road to Ensenada found him returning to a mix of Western swing, honky-tonk, country and folk. The 1998 two-disc Step Inside This House was a tribute to Lovett's early Texas songwriting influences and was followed in 1999 by his first live album, Live in Texas. In 2000, Lovett released the film soundtrack to Robert Altman's Dr. T. & the Women. To date, Lovett has sold over 4 million albums, including his 2003 release, My Baby Don't Tolerate.

This is 1980 and it is the band GILLAN's year. The album "Glory Road" entered the UK charts at Number 3 and they had just returned from the USA from doing what they did best - playing live. The concert footage on this DVD was performed for and filmed by Scottish TV (STV) to an audience whom Gillan had eating out of their hands by the end of their performance. Classic Rock from Gillan - in their prime.
Filmed for Scottish television in 1980, this memorable live concert captures Ian Gillan of Deep Purple fame and his new band at the pinnacle of their success, with a No. 3 hit on the UK charts. Tracks include "Unchain Your Brain," "Trouble," "If You Believe Me," "Mutually Assured Destruction (M.A.D.)" and "No Easy Way," with bonus archival performances of Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water," "Sleeping on the Job" and "Vengeance."

Thank God for Australian bootleggers! This is the most interesting release in years. For the first time is this very rare and odd BBC recording available on disc, and it is complete! Bowie and Ronson play as a duo, so the versions are very "stripped", but never the less perforrmed splendidly. The two other radio sessions are with Bowie and Gabrels as a duo, and were recorded for two different US radio stations. I don't know if the dates for those two sessions are recording dates or broadcast SCARY MONSTERS is played in a so called "country" version, and is actually very good! All of the songs are great versions, and it's a pity that THE SUPERMEN wasn't played in full. The original pressing of this CD had a fault in EIGHT LINE POEM, and all copies except for 10 were destroyed. These ten discs have a differnt title and a different cover. The title on the cover is UNDER THE TABLE and has a different picture. The back insert is in black and white only and has thicker letters than the normal cover. The discs have credits to Tao Jones on them plus the original title. All sessions on the disc are in excellent sound quality. A true must!
