notes
The title of the disc is "The 8th & Last Show" and it covers two shows on the Japanese leg of the 1995 tour. The first show (discs 1 and 2) from Bunka Taikukan Yokohama and the second show (discs 3 and 4) from Tokyo Bay NK Hall Chiba.

Both are audience recordings with the first show having better sound of the two. The Yokohama show I would rate at 8/10 or Ex+. You can hear the crowd especially at the start, but they are well behaved and the crowd noise doesn't detract from the recording in fact it gives you that feeling of being right there in amongst them. Good stuff indeed. Now onto the second show has very similar sound to the first. Again an audience recording this one just sounds that it's been taped a wee way from the stage and does have a distant feel to it. But having said all that it is still a great listen. You can clearly hear all the instruments Ritchies guitar sounds great and again with the audience clapping during songs etc you again feel very much a part of it. Whoever recorded these shows has really done a great job and I want to thank them for as someone who has now recorded 4 shows of my own I know how difficult it is.

So just because it's sound is slightly inferior to the first show I'll give it a very solid 7/10 or Ex. I'd also like to thank those that have shared this along the way. I pass it on as I received it. As always support the band, buy their stuff, and like me hold nightly vigils hoping and preying they will reform and once more allow us to "Catch The Rainbow"
