Pete Townshend has kindly given me his consent and support as the copyright holder of the music contained in these TV clips to release the Pete Townshend TV Chronicles DVD set exclusively on Long Live Rock.

I originally put together the Pete Townshend TV Chronicles DVD set as a 60th birthday present for Pete last year.  The idea was to present him with all of the TV clips I had in my collection that featured Pete giving interviews so that he could have a great historical document of his thoughts, ideas and opinions throughout the years to use as research material for writing his autobiography.

I spent many months combing through the extensive library of video tapes and DVDs that I have collected over the years and created individual MPEG2 clips of Pete's TV appearances.  I then compiled them all in chronological order onto DVDs.  Not all of the clips feature interviews, but the majority of them do.  Many of the clips did not have any information, so I did my best to figure out the dates and shows.  If any of the information is incorrect, please let me know and I will update it.
