Arthur Lee and Love - The Hendrix Sessions (STU/FLAC)
(Studio FLAC)
Info from the original uploader "DoinkerTape":
Arthur Lee and Love - The Hendrix Sessions (Love + Hendrix) Olympia Studios, London 1970-03-xx + Love Live Copenhagen 1970-03-xx and 1970-03-12
The month of March 1970 must have been wild for Arthur Lee and Love! At sometime during the month of March, they jammed in the studio with Jimi. These sessions apparently were put onto an acetate, which AL brought into a radio station at a later date. The acetate was played over the air,and the radio transmission was recorded with amateur equipment, which accounts for the sound quality. It's possible that is Arthur Lee's voiceover fragment at the very beginning of Midnight Sun. There are eight tracks in all.
The material is quite interesting, and lives up to the hype about it. If it were possible to say so, I'd call it a mind-meld between the two artists. The only beef I have about it at all is that there wasn't more of it to give you.
Also in March, Love was on tour in Europe. The next eight tracks are from the Falconer Theatre in Copenhagen, from May 12.
The final five tracks are from Tivoli Gardens, also in Copenhagen, from an unspecified date in March. The difference in performance from the Falconer show is startling. They sound burnt and raving.
Altogether it's somewhat bewildering to me, IMHO. Jim Morrison was quoted early on as saying that the Doors hoped their sound would be as big (popular) as Love. Arthur Lee still sounds great in concert, but Love has only a pocket audience now. Jim is dead (so they say), and the Doors still have worldwide attention.
No, none of these are audience recordings.

This recording is the 3rd and last one I got from Mikesline's old cassettes. Mikes converted the recording to 2 single flac files and I used audacity to separate them into tracks just like for the others. The cassette tracklist did not match to the tracks I could edit for disc 2..so I renamed it. I did not take time to check if all the session is available somewhere else but a portion is known as "Drifting overdub sessions", july 23, 1970, available in "Electric Lady Studios Mixing Session". I don't know if all the stuff here is from that day. There are a lot of cuts and drops, sound is still a little tin but there are some interesting moments.

Notes:
In 2000, Morrison released a collaboration with Linda Gail Lewis (Jerry Lee Lewis's sister), You Win Again. Another side project, this time focusing on R&B and country-and-western standards, Lewis proved to be an excellent duet partner, and the project set the stage for Morrison's next album, Choppin' Wood. Clinton Heylin's book, Can You Feel the Silence?, discusses this period in great detail, but due to legal issues surrounding the matter, not everything could be divulged. By the end of 2000, the album was essentially finished when Lewis and Morrison had a falling out.
As a result, Morrison went back and re-recorded and/or remixed most of the tracks, removing Lewis's contributions in the process. A few songs were removed from the final running order and more new ones were added in. The result was released in 2002 as Down the Road. Arguably Morrison's strongest release since Avalon Sunset, Heylin contends that the original version, Choppin' Wood, would have been a true return to form. It is doubtful if that notion will ever be put to the test because the original recordings have yet to circulate, privately or publicly.-- From WIkipedia

Led Zeppelin - 1963-1988 - Cabala (VAR/FLAC)
(Various FLAC)
CABALA
8CD's covering Zed Zeppelin and relevent pre-Led Zeppelin material, dating from roughly 1963 through 1988. Quality is variable, but all very listenable.
It's an interesting set to listen to, if only for Jonseys bass line during CD7's ALL MY LOVE from 1977! You get a good idea of what preceeded and helped dirct them early on along with an intersting sample of some of their best songs, and chunk of rare and obscure tracks and takes.

Disc One:
01. I’m Confused
Was one of the first numbers Led Zeppelin added to their set after beginning their career as the New Yardbirds. They soon changed the name of the song to “Dazed and Confused”. This version was recorded in 1968 at the Anderson Theater for one of Page's final performances with The Yardbirds.
02. Train Kept A Rollin’
Was another song Zeppelin played during their first American Tour in 1969. The track was recorded live in New York in 1968 with Jimmy Page and The Yardbirds.
03. She Just Satisfies
Is the first solo release from James Patrick Page. Originally released in 1965 under the name of Jimmy Page, this record is now incredibly scarce. The song was written and produced by Page. The track features Jimmy on all the instruments and lead vocals.
04. Keep Movin’
An R&B instrumental is the B-side to 21-year old Jimmy Page’s first solo release. The single was issued only in England on Fontana Records.
05. You Better Run
Is the first recording featuring a 19-year old Robert Anthony Plant. The single was released in 1966 and issued under the name of Plant’s group Listen. The track is a cover version of a Rascals tune which was later recorded by Pat Benatar.
06. Everybody’s Gonna Say
Is the B-side to Robert Plant’s first solo single. The band originally called themselves The Tennessee Teens, but changed their name to Listen. This is the first track crediting Robert Plant as songwriter.
07. Our Song
Was Robert Plant’s first solo single issued under his own name. The single was released only in England in mid-1967.
08. Long Time Coming
Was the third and final Robert Plant solo release before joining Led Zeppelin. The track was recorded by The Band of Joy in late-1967. The group included a 19-year old drummer named John Henry Bonham.
09. I’ve Got A Secret
Is the B-side to the Band of Joy’s only recording. This track also features John “Bonzo” Bonham on drums.
10. Goodnight Sweet Josephine
Was the A-side to the Yardbirds final recording with Page. The song has never appeared on any Yardbirds album and features Jimmy’s first experiments with a phased guitar.
11. Think About It
Is the B-side to The Yardbirds last single. Released in 1968, the track was never included on any album and is quite scarce. If you listen to Page’s guitar solo, you’ll hear where he got the idea for the middle of “Dazed and Confused”.
12. Hey Hey What Can I Do
Is the only track Led Zeppelin released as a single, but never included on any of their LP’s. The song was originally released as a B-side to “The Immigrant Song”.
13. Psychodasies
Is one of three Yardbirds tracks featuring Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page on guitars. This track has never been released in America, or included on any Yardbirds album.
14. Happenings Ten Years Times Ago
Was the first Yardbirds track to feature both Beck and Page on dual lead guitar.
15. Stroll On
Was the only Yardbirds track specifically recorded for a film. The song was intended for the 1967 movie “Blow Up”. The cut is basically “Train Kept A Rollin’” with different lyrics. The tune includes both Beck and Page on guitars.
16. My Babe Left Me
Is one of the earliest recording sessions featuring Jimmy Page on guitar. The single written by Arthur Cruddop is a remake of an Elvis Presley Sun records classic. The track was recorded in early 1963 with Dave Berry and the Cruisers.
17. A Certain Girl
Recorded by The First Gear features Page on guitar in 1964. The tune was popular with the British groups of the era including The Yardbirds, who also recorded it with Eric Clapton.
18. Leave My Kitten Alone
Is the B-side to “A Certain Girl”. It’s an outstanding British pop record. In 1964 the song was recorded by several British bands including the Beatles. The session was produced by Shel Talmy who also produced records for The Kinks and The Who.
19. Surprise Surprise
Was recorded by Page in 1965. The record was released by Lulu and The Luvvers. The track is a cover version of an often overlooked Rolling Stones number. Lulu later went on to fame as a pop singer with songs like “To Sir With Love”, but she began her career as an R&B singer with Page backing her up on guitar. (Godwin states that Lulu is not performing this version)
20. How Do You Feel
Was one of the final recordings featuring Page as a session guitarist. Recorded in 1966 by The Primitives, this track captures the true raw sound and feel of British rock bands of the era.
21. Jim’s Blues
Was released on an album by PJ Proby “Three Week Hero”. It was the first record including all the members of Led Zeppelin. The album was recorded several months before “Led Zeppelin I”.
22. Traveling Riverside Blues
Was originally recorded for “Led Zeppelin II”. For some unknown reason, the track remained an unreleased outtake for over twelve years. You Shook Me – no details given
23. The Girl I Love

You Shook Me – no details given
23. The Girl I Love
no details given (ed: later appeared on official release “BBC Sessions” as “The Girl I Love She Got Long Black Wavy Hair”)

Eric Clapton - 1974-1975 - One of the Hilarious Show (SBD/FLAC)
(Soundboard FLAC)
This is a Clapton compilation called "One of the Hilarious Show." geetarz posted this upload in Sept. '10. He remarked, "The West Palm Beach show alone is worth the price of admission (which is free, by the way!) ... Amazing - EC and band performing The Who's 'I Can't Explain' (with Keith Moon). As to EC's performance of 'Badge,' it's one of 'those' shows. 'Mabel? MABEL? Fuckin' MABEL? Never heard of her...' This is a fun one!"
The compilation "Booze Brothers" has two other tunes from the West Palm Beach date: Every Night About This Time & I Shot the Sheriff (which precede the band intros).
The complete San Diego date is found on "San Diego Seventy Five," though I think the sound seems muffled by comparison.

Here is the EVOLution of Polly’s career from 1991 -2004.
I’ve put together a collection of pro-shot footage over two DVD’s.
The quality ranges from watchable (mainly early stuff 92-96) to excellent. Enjoy.
To add to my notes the earliest footage is from 1992 - Dress. I thought it was from 1991 as it was tracked as this on the DVD I received , however after doing a bit of research I found this to be incorrect. If anyone has better quality versions of the footage please pm me, perhaps I could use them. Please take a look at the screen shots before down loading as the file is big!!

Review:
This Japanese CD combines two excellent quality, superbly mixed soundboard recordings from the Feb.11, 1974 early and late shows, and includes tracks performed by The Band as well. The performance, while fairly standard for 1974 in terms of the setlist, is excellent in execution. A surprisingly enjoyable set and, as with Paint The Daytime Black, a far better representation of 1974 than the official Before The Flood album.

Notes from Saitoh:
I rearranged d7t16 to after d1t2 which restores the original running order as much as possible. I spliced in part of my audience copy of this show to restore the comments after t2 and before the new t3 and after the new t3 and what is now t4. Besides that, I've retracked ALL 7 discs so that they actually start with a song and not a minute before or 15 seconds afterward... (grumble grumble... stupid bootleggers)
This box was generally aimed a puting all of the circulating sbd tracks all on one set + some strange stuff on disc 7.
