Comments:
Solid performance by veteran rocker Bob Seger in the Chicago stop of his current tour. I had never seen him before, and I must say that I was impressed with his showmanship and the quality of his vocals. Although he certainly *looked* his 68 years of age, his voice sounded exactly like he did in his late 1970s/early 1980s heyday.
The setlist was a hit factory, with virtually everything drawn from the early 1970s with a sprinkling of his '80s hits and a handful of current tunes. He introduced "Like a Rock," for audience members who were less than 26 years old, as a song he hadn't performed live during their lifetimes; I'm not sure if this was a tour debut, but it sounded great and inspired me to go out and buy a Chevy truck. A highlight, for me, was the cover of Wilco & Billy Bragg's "California Stars" -- though interestingly enough, he didn't seem to be aware that a local band was involved in the recording (he alluded to the fact that the lyrics were written by Woody Guthrie, but didn't reference Wilco at all). He does a credible version of the song, though I prefer the "original" version by Wilco.
In terms of sound quality, I was a little too close to the stage to catch the full effect of the overhead PA, and needed to improve upon the high and low ends using Audio Cleaning Lab. Overall, this is a very clear recording but lacking "punch"; I was fortunate in that there wasn't any crowd interference close to my mics, but there were a couple guys nearby chatting throughout the show that can be heard in the background at quieter points of the show. Overall, this is a very listenable, enjoyable recording, but I'm sure there will be better documents that surface eventually from this tour.
Download if you're even a casual fan who's curious about the current tour, and don't forget to buy his studio and live releases.
There are no fades on this file set, so the CD breaks (for those who still burn to CD) are merely a suggestion - you can split discs wherever you want.

Review
This CD is from Twilight Music (undated) with a catalogue number of TMCD 005. Total running time is given as 67:57. The sources are a variety of good quality vinyl and indifferent tape from TV, video and audience bootlegs. There is the usual amount of bootlegger's hyperbole in the track notes. The CD is worth buying for tracks 1, 11 and 13. Because of the variable sources, I have individually rated the tracks for audio quality, Kate content and interest value.

According to the artwork, CD 1, tracks 1-4 are from Klooks Kleek, London, Dec '66;
5-8 Konserthusen, Sweden, March '67; 9-15 Ricky Tick Club, London, April '67.
CD 2, tracks 1-7 are from Marquee Club, London, May '67 and 8-14 Spalding, Lancs, May '67.
Of particular interest to collectors will be disc 2 containing a lot of live material from Disraeli Gears such as, World of Pain, Outside Woman Blues, Dance the Night Away and We're Going Wrong that didn't show up in subsequent tours. Sound quality throughout isn't bad either.
