Between or after the Windows performances in Munich in June 1974 Jon Lord (Deep Purple) and Eberhard Schoener were asked to do a project for the "Rock Meets Classic" series, that German TV did in the early 70ies. It's not a real concert, the band and the orchestra separately rehearse and perform parts of Mozart's "Kroenungsmesse". The quality is good, except of a number of short video tape errors

During the 2000-2004 period, The Cure made several U.S. television appearances to promote "Bloodflowers", "The Cure" and the Curiosa Festival. I was ready with my VCR to record whatever I was aware of. I just dug these tapes out and realized I had enough to create a decent compilation, and here it is. This is all first generation and in great shape. The appearances included here are MADtv (2000), Craig Kilborn (2003), Jay Leno (2004) and Pepsi Smash (2004). The song list follows.

This to my ears is the best quality recording of any of the "TEE" catalogue shows I have heard; the sound is crystal clear and well balanced, with a mostly super respectful and very quiet audience that never disturbs the recording. if anything the vocals sound slightly echoey - otherwise this recording is a real treat!

Flew out to Phoenix from DC for these shows and ended up grabbing a last minute GA ticket from ticketmaster for the first show. Has a fair bit of crowd noise and the music isn't as well defined as night 2, but I still think it came out pretty well considering the location of the arrays.

Bruce opens the show with a short speech and "American Skin (41 Shots)", the first show of the tour not to open with "The Rising", which was played immediately following "American Skin (41 Shots)". Other highlights in the set included "Does This Bus Stop at 82nd Street?", as well as a solo piano version of "My Hometown". "I'm a Rocker" also appeared in the encores by sign request, in the slot preceding "Born to Run". The first show in Cincinnati to have festival seating since eleven people were trampled to death at a Who concert in 1979.
Audience tape, IEM and great quality DVD 'Cincinnati Lights' (CTC). A version of the DVD dubbed with the IEM also circulates. The show has been released on a great IEM - Audience mix 'Let The Begging Commence' (Ev2), which also includes the soundcheck tracks.

St Paul And The Broken Bones opened. They were not captured, as I wasnt going to risk losing any battery strength.
Recording notes: Overall , a very good recording. Minimal crowd noise/chatter. (The Normal for an outside event ) . Tixs in section 114. Lower Field Level . Straight back on Keith's side.
Kept mics placed on my glasses and in line with a stack at the end of the field . You will hear me clapping at times, and even hoot and holler .(not much)
When in Rome, Do as the Romans Do...and I was caught up in the moment. ( I am a Georgia Boy, it just comes out naturally at times )
Personal notes: I've seen the Stones 6 times now , and I rank this show up there with the 94 Voodoo Lounge show I saw. Its an honor to go to this venue as this is maybe the oldest,
on campus Football field in College Football. ( AKA Grant Field ). I saw an, IORR.Org sign, at the stadium but the party I was with was in a hurry to get in so my apologies
for not stopping and chatting. I did holler "IT'S ONLY ROCK N ROLL", and he replied "BUT I LIKE IT ". The party I was with said is that that that means ? I explained it as
we kept walking. It rained and stormed all day on our ride up to ATL, but luckily, Keith did his pre show "No Rain Stick" ritual before the show. It worked as the sun came back out
around 8:30 pm right before it went down .
Concert notes: Good Performance. No rarities like the Columbus, or Dallas shows , but "Some Girls" was cool to hear. Mick made several Atlanta, and Georgia references.
"You Gotta Move" was very cool when Keith sat down with a Slide and Acoustic. The Band had fun and it parlayed into the crowd.
Even when they made a few intro mistakes and stumbled through "Some Girls", they laughed it off. Mick compliments the GA crowd at the end of "Miss You" .
