Notes by the uploader:
Surprise! With the boys playing Vancouver tonight (PST) on the current tour a few of us old school traders thought it would be fun to bust this gem out from the same town 32 years ago. The sound here is really good, rivaling the Fresno 3-25-79 recording. It starts off a bit rough, but it seems the taper turned his mic toward the stage (or more amps were switched on) and the sound gets and stays better from the middle of "Light Up The Sky" on out. There is small master tape issue on "Running With the Devil" but not too bad. The tapers apparently "borrowed" a Nak deck and mics from their school. This is from the master cassette, and straight from the taper. It's Pete Angelus's birthday - he was VH's light guy in those early years and then he became Roth's partner in crime as one of the Picasso Bros. when Roth launched his solo career.
